    San Francisco, CA December 21 2011 – INN AT THE PRESIDIO,the first hotel in the Presidio of San Francisco, and the only new hotel to open in San Francisco in 2012, will welcome the public beginning in April. The INN will offer intimate accommodations and exceptional comfort, style, and personalized service.

    Once one of the oldest military posts in the country, the Presidio is an urban national park and National Historic Landmark District in a major metropolitan area. The INN offers the best of both worlds: a hidden getaway in a national park filled with historic buildings, miles of trails and other recreational opportunities, abundant wildlife, and stunning bay and bridge vistas, with the rich urban life of San Francisco just outside its gates.

    Located in historic Pershing Hall, previously the post’s bachelor officers’ quarters, INN AT THE PRESIDIO will provide an authentic experience of the privilege once reserved for the ‘top brass.’ The INN will feature 22 spacious guest rooms – 17 of which are one bedroom suites. Room rates will range from $195-$350 a night. Other amenities will include an inviting front porch with rocking chairs, a landscaped terrace with fire-pit, guest reception, and a guest lounge with a dining room.

    SFJAZZ Spring Season 2012

    San Francisco – December 6, 2011: San Francisco is gearing up to greet visitors and artists coming from all over the world to participate in the SFJAZZ Spring Season 2012.

    SFJAZZ, one of the nation’s leading non-profit jazz organizations, has revealed the complete artist lineup for the four-month-long season, which begins on February 9 and continues through June 17. The Spring Season 2012 will present more than 40 concert performances, highlighting some of the most renowned artists in the arena of jazz and world music.

    Warm Beach Camp (Washington State) to host the 2011 Annual The Lights of Christmas

    Stanwood, WA: For twenty nights in December, more than one million.
    Christmas lights will be displayed at the 15th annual The Lights of Christmas, a spectacle spread over 15 acres at Warm Beach Camp in Stanwood, WA. The Lights of Christmas is the largest holiday light display in the Northwest that combines live entertainment, children’s activities, food, and overnight getaway options. In addition to the general festival, The Lights of Christmas offers Dinner Theatre and Sunday Dessert Matinees, this year, featuring Richard Carter’s “Winds in the Morning.”

    For 2010, 2011 and 2012, The Lights of Christmas was voted one of the top 100 destinations in North America for local and group travel by the American Bus Association. This award recognizes the event’s broad appeal, ability to handle large groups, and high quality of experience for guests of all ages.

    Denver Christkindl Market is back in 2011

    DENVER, Colo ­— Relive a centuries old German tradition when the 11th annual Denver Christkindl Market kicks off on Friday, November 25, 2011, in connection with Downtown Denver’s Grand Illumination and the Parade of Lights.

    This festive German Christmas market continues through December 23 and takes place in Denver’s Skyline Park on the 16th Street Mall with its busy pedestrian traffic and easy access by light rail, Mall Shuttle Bus, RTD or automobile; the Southwest Skating Rink is located just across the 16th Street Mall from the market.

    The market’s normal hours from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday through Wednesday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday through Saturday, with extended hours for the Parade of Lights on December 2 and 3.
