San Francisco 10k race.
Registration is now open for Mayor Gavin Newsom’s fourth annual Stadium to Stadium 10K challenge on June 20, 2009, Dean Karnazes, an internationally recognized endurance athlete and author, is expected to run in the race which starts at 8 a.m. at AT&T Park, 24 Willie Mays Plaza, and ends at Candlestick Park.
A “Keep It Movin’” health and fitness fair, which includes a free breakfast, follows the race at Candlestick Park. Children will also be able to participate in 100-yard dash races on the San Francisco 49ers home turf. For information visit www.stadiumtostadium.com
