Rosen Hotels & Resorts has purchased a 25-acre (10-hectare) parcel of land to build an additional 300- to 500-unit villa property at Rosen Shingle Creek. The addition will expand the hotel to close to 2,000 guest rooms and will feature a pool, restaurant, private check-in and registration desk, a private club house and private meeting space.

The hotel, which underwent an extensive $10 million renovation, features a rooftop heated pool, fitness center, club level with private lounge, updated guest rooms offering wireless high speed Internet and a contemporary lobby. Dining options include a full service restaurant, lobby lounge and coffee bar. The hotel also features 20,000 square feet (6,096 square meters) of meeting space for groups of up to 500 guests.
